Travel Day from Hardin to West Yellowstone, Montana

"Montana is a great splash of grandeur.
The scale is huge but not overpowering.:"
~  John Steinbeck ~

We spent a day of hard driving to meet our next destination.......Rustic RV Campground in West Yellowstone....a town.near the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park.    We had sporadic rain all day long as we first entered Billings to reach a CVS pharmacy for a prescription refill.   A nice city and easy to manipulate even with an Airstream behind.  Then back on I-90 to Boseman which put us back on the Lewis & Clark Trail and across Yellowstone River and then onto highway 191 which was a spectacularly beautiful ride.   We saw many men trout fishing in a beautiful stream called Snow Creek for a long distance along the highway.    Ultimately we entered the very edge of Yellowstone Park for a ways before arriving at our camp site.  No sitings of any wildlife in that area.   Most of the following photos were taken from the truck as we were zooming down the road.   About 2 p.m. today we saw the first snow-capped mountain.

Ignore the trucks (ours & the other one) and
try to see snowcapped mountains in the background.
Just proof.  :-)

That's all for today, folks !
